Six Minutes to Success a Tale of Self Improvement and Focus

By Jeff Grundy

Our first discussion on deciding if self-improvement was worth the effort or not, left many a bit discouraged. Using Bob Proctor's Six Minutes to Success as a starting point, we will continue our discussion.

Would a certain amount of people become successful whether they followed the self-improvements suggestions or not. I wish I could answer that question, but I can't. Yet with out the hope involved with trying to change your life for the better, life would be very bleak

Yet again I ask, why do only a few make it, while the vast majority who try never accomplish much. I guess if anyone really new the answer, everyone could become successful. The Secret Movie claimed to have the answer, yet how many millions viewed the movie, with no positive results?

Could the answer be that their is a different path for each of us to follow? If you get lucking and find information that matches your path, low and behold it works, yet for the majority of the readers, listeners or participants it has no bearing on their success? This theory at least allows an individual hope in finding their path to success.

This is where Secrets to Success by Bob Proctor takes a different approach. Instead of promising a single key to your success, he opens the key to your mind. By sending you daily videos and asking the right questions, you begin to find your own way.

Certainly the material Bob Proctor offers is similar to many other programs, books and DVDs available, the method is far from the same old techniques. By sending you daily videos, he opens your mind and causes you to think and do what you need to do, not what someone else is telling you will work.

Is Six Minutes to Success the key to your success? Certainly not, well not for the vast majority of it's users. Yet those who can focus on the lessons and themselves will certainly have a better chance at success.

We are now back to asking does self-help and self-improvement work? Yes and no. For those who do not try probably not. For those who try and give up, probably not. For those who try and keep trying, maybe. I would like to say certainly, but both you and I know that is a lie.

One factor that I believe is helpful is a mastermind group. Thus in order to help myself and others interested I have started a weekly podcast in which the listeners are able to participate. If this is something you may be interested in, you can out more information at my website 30 wasted years. Six minutes to success is not required to participate. - 20897
